I thought it would be as easy as plugging the Switch Lite or SD card into the Mac and moving the NSP files over into a folder. I have no idea what I'm doing obviously.

Edit: I attempted to transfer files over from my Mac using Android File Transfer and DB Installer. It looked very promising but AFT closes and reopens over and over again.

Regarding moving (any) files:

Regarding installing (NSP) files:

Note:
You will likely use the local internet option to transfer/install files.

Make sure to block Nintendo servers before connecting to the internet with 90DNS:

This was the only thing I used to accomplish what I set out to do. Thank you for your help. No other way worked but this way.

I do. I must be missing something here, I'm sorry. I plugged my Switch into my Mac, I can hear that it recognizes something is plugged in but the Switch does not come up as an option.

I don't have a Mac, hopefully someone who does can help.

Thank you. Do you have to do something on the Switch once in Tinfoil?

You should have the games viewable on tinfoil on the computer, then on the switch use the the file browser on tinfoil to see them and select the ones you want to transfer and install. I think the desktop tinfoil app is called NUT or something?

Switch Lite

Has your Switch even been modchipped? Only the original V1 Switch can be soft modded. All other Switch versions require a hardware modchip to be installed.

It has, yes.
