I've been working on a scarf since around September. I call it my anxiety knitting and i hope to have it done just in time for summer...
It's like a comfort blanket sometimes and I am not ashamed to admit it! Like making friends with the dog at a party.

Omg this is officially my new favourite saying and I'm going to aggressively find ways to use it in conversation despite being english and nobody here knowing wtf a sweet potato pie is.

I don't remember what kind of yarn it is, it's been sitting in my yarn box for a couple years, to the point the label degraded :/ But it's a two-tone braided acrylic I got from Michaels, in one of those semi-seasonal displays they have in the middle of the main aisle.
If I can find another one, I'll update with the brand/style!
Everyone always tells me to watch Bob's Burgers, clearly this is yet another sign.
At all times, the bookbag has in it my laptop, a physical book, and a knitting project. Just in case.
