If I found this I’d assume “marble” and probably put it on my mouth because I’m a moron.
I presume they carbon date it somehow? They make and sell modern reproductions for tourists that look just like this with various stones.

Wouldn’t carbon dating Amber be like “wow this is millions of years old”?
Good point, you'd have to do it from surrounding strata of earth like @streetman mentioned they did.
