They should put a usable interior in the id3 instead of stupid touch controls and switches without haptic feedback. That and the idiotic "2 switches for 4 power windows" was my reason for buying a Hyundai instead of vw as my next EV.

Don’t think it is going to change till next model refresh. And all those switches and touchscreen saver OEM ton of money

The cost savings is the big reason the manufacturers want to do screens.

I once shared an office with a guy from China who said that they don't really like hatchbacks over there. He said those cars "don't have an ass". Maybe it's just not exactly the most popular form factor, in addition to the known issues with the subpar interior.

Yeah yeah, I know my sample size is 1.
