Actual player? Insane levels of trash talk. NPC? Always super polite.

I will trash on online players and tea bag in CSGO but I am very respectful to NPCs

Also me, making sure that the most recent baby born in the colony has the best childhood possible, with expertly crafted human leather rompers and human meat baby food.

It's a rough world out there. Let them enjoy childhood while they can!

Lol I have a hard time selling players on my fifa team that have been there a while because I feel like they’d be disappointed in my betraying their loyalty.

Me, making my rimworld colony a utopian non-hierarchical commune

Me, turning my colony vegetarian because I can't bring myself to slaughter my tamed animals

Me, hearing Nazeem talkin' shit: quicksave

Also in this kinda vein, I was playing The Sinking City and talking to a dude who looks like a gorilla. I was trying not to be racist (racism is a heavy part of the game's story) and my only two options were basically "you're an ugly monkey... But I still gotta finish my job for you" or "you're an ugly monkey who needs to die." Whoa, dude! Whoa! I just wanted to tell him his son was murdered by those ugly ass fish people without the social commentary.

Can't really blame a guy for his father's love for monkeys

Me, Spending an unhealthy amount of time to avoid killing innocent animals in World Of Warcraft...

Ahah...

"this action will be remembered by the character"

I can't even treat my Sims badly

The Horizon series feels like the ultimate example of this to me, but probably just due to my Philistine-tier grasp of gaming

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago

I dunno. Someone upset over a lost loved one? Take the heart option. Someone honestly trying their best but causing poor consequences? Brain option. Someone being a dick and got caught? Fist option.

I did let Revalla live, though, but at least I made her fight with me.

Well, if we’re being honest it’s only the first play through. On new game plus you better believe I’m going full evil.

[–] LocutusOfBeetleBorg 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Same, though my attempt at a pure evil run is to still be super polite to every NPC at every opportunity, but do evil things when it helps min-max.

[–] Boiglenoight 2 points 2 years ago

That feels like pure evil. Lots of betrayal potential!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I tried doing that as well, just by selecting the exact opposite of the first run 😅

[–] cottonmon 3 points 2 years ago

Man, I still feel bad for missing that qte in Assassin's Creed with Da Vinci

[–] ptolemai 3 points 2 years ago

All that violence and trash talk .. makes me feel guilty about enjoying Stardew Valley

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Me, too afraid to pick rude dialogue options thinking it would make the characters sad...

... and murdering everyone
