yeah maybe, i definitely saw reports of him travelling which is weird; maybe intentional to throw off Porto.

We did the same thing for Saka a while ago, wouldn't be surprised if we did it for Partey. Two plane tickets are probably worth the competitive advantage given it's modern football.
