Because it’s a bug. You opened a GitHub website in the in-app browser before. The banner should disappear but atm it only hides, and often not very well, as you see 🐭

I don’t know if it has been reported, but I surely have seen it myself! Maybe check their GitHub and open an issue? If you feel like it 😘

I did not see an issue raised so I created a new one. Hopefully it's not a duplicate!

Also, just wanted to say that this app is incredible. Thank you to the devs for all of the hard work. Each release feels like unwrapping a present. I even find myself reading the release notes which is not something I typically do in my free time.

That's interesting - what version of wefwef? I'm on IOS 16.5.1, wefwef v0.16.0 - which is the latest as of this post as far as I can tell - and I don't have that.

Thanks for checking! As another commenter pointed out, seems like this is an edge case that occurs if you use wefwef to click on a github link and then navigate back to wefwef. I was able to confirm this.
