A crown represents nobility and royalty. A system that wants to accumulate power into the hands of a few. So basically centralization of power. The opposite of what the fediverse tries to achieve.

This looks like a “premium version” app logo
It looks cleaner and more focused without the crown. Does the crown symbolize anything? If not, I say leave it out, maybe save it for an eventual premium or donation version of the app. I love the colors of this one though. It's clean and sharp, but also whimsical
