There's a quote I heard about a famous woman who had her first kid when she was still a teenager. "She and her daughter are very close, they grew up together."
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Honestly doesn't matter how old you are, nothing makes you grow as a person like kids.
Yeah
I'm not a parent but when you grow up you also watch your parents grow up
Then when you finally get past a certain age, usually about 30 or 40, you realize that everyone, including the parents that raised you have absolutely no clue as to what to do from day to day and they just get by with the little bit of knowledge they have and a whole lot of luck.
I feel bad that I laughed so hard at this!
I hope no one tells her you can learn from suffering too.
In one of the Sean Bean "Sharpe's Rifles" episodes there's a scene where the English are flogging one of their troops. The General asks Shape what he thinks of floggings?
"All a flogging does is teach a man that pain hurts."
You mean, I have something to teach too. That’s awesome.
