Bulk price of $193000/unit for 6000 units with a $50000 cost basis.

I just had a great idea for a business. I’d like to invite you all to get in at the ground floor, but it’s more like an Egyptian penthouse of sorts.

The cost per 35mm round for Gepard is $40 to $200. Sounds like a good trade.

Isn't the issue that in the gulf these drones are being targeted by missiles that are more like $1M each? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flakpanzer_Gepard are not mounted on ships afaik although I expect there are similar solutions. Update: it seems electronic warfare (lasers, microwave, GPS suppression) are favoured as they don't run out of ammo. Against a drone swarm attack mixed with anti ship missiles the ballistics are reserved for taking out the ship killers. Striking the threat at source is even better which the US and UK are doing now. https://www.reddit.com/r/WarCollege/comments/17dgocl/how_should_warships_deal_with_the_issue_of_being/

Yep, this is also why navies are hell bent on getting working laser defense systems working and installed on their ships.

Yep. Same with the missiles used in the Iron Dome.
