Interesting stat: Kiwior has played more minutes than Thomas Partey this season. In the Premier League. If you take all comps even ESR has more than Partey.

Thank you sweet baby Jesus for getting Rice at a bargain price.

On a more serious note though, and I know this will run so many ppl the wrong way, thank god for Havertz and his versatility. I really don't think Havertz is as bad as people make him out to be and I think as time progresses he will only get better.

[–] Astrealix 3 points 11 months ago

I think Havertz is a great signing and has been extremely impactful in our wins against the big teams this season

I think it's time to move on from injury prone players, no matter how good they are. This season has proven that even if you're a great option but you're not available it's pointless.

Win at home and draw away, the same as last year while facing a stronger Liverpool side. Thankfully this will be last match vs Klopp's Liverpool

Onto the ultimate test now - David Moyes away.

Deccers will be booed like crazy.

Oof that cup tie was a disaster, hope it was a lesson learned

[–] Astrealix 2 points 11 months ago

After yesterday's game, itching for some revenge. I know it's a different team but yeah

[–] sensiblepuffin 3 points 11 months ago

Well, that's probably it. Thanks for nothing, Brentford, and barbecue's canceled, Ivan

[–] Astrealix 3 points 11 months ago

Grain of salt cuz it's the mail, but if Pochettino actually can't be sacked because of payout that's hilarious

I've never heard of a government subsidized friendly before.....but apparently it happened.

[–] Astrealix 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Well it's not government subsidised anymore XD

[–] MHPengwingz 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Did they actually take back the funding?? I mean they really should've invested that money on local athletes in the first place, especially given they've been getting results on the international stage these couple of years.

[–] Astrealix 1 points 11 months ago

they're saying they are, but who knows with this government lol. Should be spending money helping more clubs professionalise instead anyway. Though I am heavily biased for obvious reasons.

Why the fuck are people rattled about Ødegaard taking a photo of Stu lol

[–] sensiblepuffin 5 points 11 months ago (2 children)

My assumption is that they were prepared to talk shit about Arsenal losing, they didn't have any alternate talking points prepared, so they just reset to factory default

[–] Gingerrific 4 points 11 months ago

Some people just enjoy shitting on us. Go back and look at how we were talked about in the media. No one took us seriously, and we barely made a few ppls top 4 predictions, and then we started winning.

  • "They haven't faced any real competition, just wait"

Once that narrative dried up it was onto

  • "They can't sustain this"

But we did, and then Jesus got hurt.

  • "They can't do it without a proper striker"

And we just kept on ticking, winning games and picking up points. Somehow we went from barely being worthy of top 4 to title contenders by mid season and the only team in the league giving City City a proper fight for the title.

Once people got sick of us winning, they started complaining, and out came the fun police.

@sensiblepuffin @Astrealix yep, revert to easy ragebait when they're caught with their pants down

[–] sensiblepuffin 2 points 11 months ago

And this seems to happen with astonishing frequency.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 11 months ago

@Astrealix @GunnersBot seriously. People need to chiiiiiiilllllll

[–] sensiblepuffin 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Sigh, the Bees have let us down once again

[–] OlPatchy2Eyes 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

In fairness aren't they like just above the relegation zone? They're really struggling this season

[–] sensiblepuffin 1 points 11 months ago

I didn't realistically expect them to win, but a draw at home seemed within the realms of possibility

[–] hangonasecond 2 points 11 months ago

Hopefully the evertonians can deliver

I looked up the scoreline just now, and city scored immediately after ffs

[–] sensiblepuffin 2 points 11 months ago

lol I did the same thing for their second D:

[–] MHPengwingz 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Is it just me or is this game painfully slow and quiet?

[–] sensiblepuffin 3 points 11 months ago

Most exciting City match
