A lawsuit paints WWE as an “organization that facilitated or turned a blind eye to abuse and then swept it under the rug.”

That man deserves to hit every branch on his downfall

I really want someone to take a shit on his head as well. Or preferably several.

Hopefully those branches connect to a tree planted by the edge of a cliff, 509 feet over a jagged shoreline.

There used to be law firms that specialized in corporate board issues, if there was ever a time for one to be hired to figure out who knew what, it's now. Sadly, this is a company owned by a man who not only stood behind Dana White slapping his wife in public but then sat on stage and said there was no better friend or person than Vince McMahon to be in business with. Endeavor is no saint of a company, I don't think most of the big names people have been salivating about being fired are going to get fired, nor do I agree they should be based on information currently available. I just really want an investigation by an outside law firm that wouldn't have any reason to cover shit up.

Now lets fantasy book... fire them all and rename the company Endeavor's Entertainment Wrestling, EEW... then when people change ECW it will sound like EEW on TV.

Its an interesting thought, notwithstanding the WWE fan base have in the past been extraordinarily forgiving... WWE's own curated mythology is that since the 80s, Wrestling = WWE, and WWE = Vince. Most of their documentaries lay the entirety of WWEs financial and creative success at the feet of Vince's "genius". Essentially the WWE is built on a cult of personality that is a little Stalinist in terms of Vince being the godfather of everything big and successful the company has ever done.

Will they need to break down that myth, or will their audience just forgive it, or not even really believe it? I think you could make an argument that a large part of WWE's audience is proudly not very woke so I can kinda see it not being a very big deal for many of them. So long as Vince is gone I suspect they won't bother doing anything more, certainly not without anybody painting the WWE = Vince over & over. I guess they'll have to pull and/or edit basically every documentary type product they've ever produced though!

What this whole thing has taught me is that our species is divided by two-types: those who want to shit on others and those who don't.

Always has been. A key difference to knowing who is who is to see how they treat authoritarians.

A third would be those that are willing to help hide the ones that want to shit on others

He always seemed like such a nice guy. I guess it really is the ones you least suspect.

As an aside, I would be absolutely shocked if someone hasn't either written a several-part book or movie/TV series about the life, rise, and fall of Vince McMahon.

TKD is in a whole heap of trouble, and needs to do some serious damage control here. Furthermore, they need to be sure that VKM isn't going to just return in 12 months time once this has all blown over. The worry when the legal eyes are on WWE is that they've been no stranger to controversy over the years, and I imagine that if people were to truly investigate the wrongdoings in that company they'd find a list of dodgy shit that could probably implicate the entire McMahon family + Triple H.

Endeavour/TKD have bought two companies with chequered pasts, with owners known to do some fucking dodgy shit. They need to lock that shit down, cut anyone involved loose, and start fresh.

Whatever shred of justice can be extracted now unfortunately can't erase the fact that he got to get away with it for years and live a long prosperous life as a billionaire owner an empire.

I can't imagine how it must feel to deal with your trauma in obscurity while you watch them fly on private jets and be treated like messiahs because they are good at putting an expensive action-figure show on TV.
