so now there's a bug that causes the backend to hang, which our current restart logic can't handle without heartbeat detection. to compound that, the frontend responds to the backend hanging by making thousands of requests in a tight loop, effectively hanging the UI until all the requests reject (or you close the tab and open a new one)
this is an all-new level of garbage and I'm kind of shocked by it
19.x seems like a but of a mess, every version so far have had reports of some kind of serious issue.

Any time I try to upvote or downvote comments I get this error:
Error: invalid_bot_action
Not sure if that's related. I tried logging out and logging in again, clearing caches/cookies, etc.
As mentioned by @[email protected] in another comment, you have a little "B" attached to your username, which seems to imply the system thinks your account is a bot account.
Weird, do you know if there's a way to remedy it or do I just have to deal with it?
there should be a checkbox in your account settings for this; if toggling that and saving a couple times doesn’t work, we can attempt database surgery (though the results may be unpredictable)
