Last time I went to a movie in a theatre, the audio was so loud I could feel it in my heart. Louder than that was the Eras show thumping through the walls however many rooms away. The whole experience was louder than any concert I've ever been to and I have tinnitus from an Ozzfest in the 90s. Went to dinner with my wife not too long ago and the music was almost as loud as the handful of clubs I've been in. Over that was the cafeteria drone of all the people talking over each other. Everything is louder. This isn't a gamer issue. This is an everything issue.

Exactly, they’ll blame whatever is trendy for clicks.

They blamed iPods for deafness in teens when those were the in thing.
