The most anticipated feature over the original is obviously Matter/Thread support, however, the website boasts some cool new other features such as: a flat magnet option, 5-year battery life, adjustable sensitivity, and tamper alarm.

Oh finally, thanks for sharing! The truth is, my first gen Aqara door/window sensors are probably my most reliable accessories in my Homekit. I simply have no reason to buy new ones now; highly recommend them
