Edit: sorry, just posting a link was kinda glib of me; the one line summary is: Mod trident was fired, Stella rage-stream, no official statement from Jagex

First I'm hearing about it, anyone with more details than what was in the video posted by another commenter?

The original drama happened 2 months ago, today is just the resolution. Dog In Varrock laid out the details in a couple of videos (which were also censored by the subreddit at the time):

Also, (one of) the removed reddit threads from then: https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/12psj8j/so_are_the_mods_going_to_continue_to_censor_that/

Watched the first video and it is unreal that she went for so long without being banned.

Weird there's no official statement from jagex when they said they'd be looking into it already. Maybe waiting to deal with any potential legal threats? But I need the rage stream in my life

Perhaps. When Jed was fired, they made a statement regarding it, and Jed claimed that made him hunting for a new job impossible and no one would hire him. Iirc, he then sued Jagex for defamation, and he won that lawsuit.

Jagex is probably trying to avoid any defamation that can occur for Trident to prevent the same thing from happening.

Man, Jed was a real piece of shit.

Did not know that, thanks for the information. Definitely seems plausible.

Totally out of the loop here. What situation?

Jed 2.0 it seems, proxy for his GF selling gold and using his mod powers to investigate and, albeit possibly legitimately, ban others for either bad mouthing or competing for gold selling
