A few showed up and chanted "clap them cheeks" and then went home.

My parents got married when they were 19 and 21. They only knew each other for 3 months prior to getting married even. They're almost 70 now and still happily married.

My husband and I got married when we were both 21. We're almost 30 now and still happily married.

For some, it is possible to know what you want out of your life. For example, I knew since I was 16 years old that I didn't want any children. My husband was a bit younger than me since he knew. We both knew what our general goals were and how to work towards them.

We talked extensively prior to getting married about a lot of things, such as what happens if one of us becomes severely disabled and requires the other to care for us. Our answers aligned really well and on things we didn't align on we were able to come to an agreement that satisfied both of us.

I don't think my case is a common one though. My husband and I have definitely both changed, the difference is that we have changed and grown together. And sometimes it took both of us actively working together to solve any issues.

It is a lot easier to simply wait and skip this process but we were ready to commit.

I am thankful everyday that the governor of Kansas is a Democrat as well because it means we likely aren't participating.

Kansas historically was a free state, part of the union. People, that live here specifically, seem to forget that.

I just sent a message to the governor declaring my support in not sending any troops to Texas.

People here who don't remember the thanks Obama meme is very sad.

Anytime anything bad happened people would say "thanks Obama" then it got turned into a meme of people saying it when it didn't even have anything to do with Obama.

It got so popular that Obama himself made a meme.

I'd be suspicious that any lab that may have killed or severely injured someone isn't a "lab mix" like the shelters push out.

For reference, I was in a car accident that broke both of my wrists and I had to go to the ER. I was fine other than my wrists.

The ER use for about.. 3 hours? Was over $10,000. Because my health insurance refused coverage since it was in an auto accident.

Luckily my bodily injury coverage on my insurance paid.

Then I needed surgery and physical therapy. All of which were not covered by my health insurance.

The surgery was about $32,000. (Included the metal plates and screws/pins as well as the surgical room and recovery + surgeon and anesthesia).

All said and done total cost for having my wrists broken was about $70,000. None of which was covered by my health insurance and thank god my parents (I was still on their car insurance) paid for underinsured motorist coverage because the drunk that caused the accident didn't have insurance. I didn't go into debt ONLY because of that coverage.

They charged me $40 for 2 Tylenol they gave me in the ER while I waited for them to come set my wrists and give me the big girl pain killers. $18 for a pregnancy test too prior to surgery that I couldn't refuse. Unreal.

And also, sometimes the offending dog has their picture taken and we can all look and see that these are pit bulls.

I used these for a bit but one of my cats is picky and won't use them to poop. She would pee on them though. She will only use fine clay litter 😞

Tbf, sometimes the measurements are iffy. I bought a 55 inch TV that fits comfortably on my TV table. The TV had some issues so I went through a return with the manufacturer and they didn't have my specific TV in my size so they offered a 65 inch. I asked them if the measurements for the stand were the same and they read off the same distance as the 55 inch. I thought great! It will fit.

TV arrives and the stand legs were just an inch short on either side of the table, definitely not the same! But it still fit. I ended up securing the TV with those child straps just in case and plan to replace the table eventually.

Can't wall mount at the moment because of spacing issues but eventually will.

I had a similar issue with a monitor, the stand leg distance was listed but not the fact that it's width is half my desk. It doesn't help that some stores and manufacturers don't have a standardized list either.
