All in all, it was just nice to get some extra rest and see some of the backup players get experience in a low stakes game, gaining confidence, working out the kinks, and making their mistakes now so they can get over them by the time they really need to step up.

Winning would have been the cherry on top, but a delicious sundae without a cherry is still a delicious sundae.
