A place to share wholesome code reviews.

Do you have a code review that explains the how or the why (or WTF) of a piece of code? Please share it.

• Be constructive, point out the limitations and tradeoffs, instead of just throwing adjectives.
• Provide references, so we can all learn new stuff
• Rule of thumb - a review explains Why the code exists; What it is meant to do; and How does it do it.
• A code review is not a sales brochure. Tell us how it works, how it was tested, how it breaks. Do not self promote.

A good picture is worth 0x3e8 words, but a good code review is an x-ray into software.
