Hi everyone,

So just wanting to let everyone know, I am fully aware that having an account on any instance won't really change the experience much, but I really liked sh.itjust.works for running the server on renewable energy and just overall good vibes.

When trying to register, I was told that I'll be getting an email verification but unfortunately I have not, and I have waited for a while now. Spam/junk mail is also empty, and I was unable to resend the verification link.

Really hope this problem get fixed. Happy to be here regardless :)

I just signed up over there less than an hour ago and had no issue. Email came within a minute. I did get an error after clicking the link but it seems to be working fine.

I had to wait some time before it came through. But my email service is always slow as fuck for verification type things so I’m used to it. So maybe keep waiting? Mine took probably 30 minutes.

Are you using Gmail? I heard that Gmail lately is very aggressive in marking 3rd party email servers as spam, so that might be why the email islate.

I am using outlook, didn't get anything in my spam section. When registering on leemy.world I was able to get the email verification instantly, though that was sent to spam.

I have the opposite problem. Registered just fine here, but couldn't get lemmy.world to go through

That checks out. I've been having issues with emails from random forums I'm on all being flagged as spam as of recent.

After the latest upgrade I have re-enabled captcha's and remove the need to confirm via email.

Same issue here so I just went and created an account on lemmy.world which is basically exploding due to a high volume of new users.
