Comic adaptations of films are interesting. They quite often used to contain scenes that didn't make the final film because the were usually based on earlier scripts with a selection of photos so they actually knew what they were drawing.
The Marvel adaptation of Star Wars has a unique version of Jabba in docking bay 94 because no one knew what he was going to look like.
Finally, if you want to see a poor comic adaptation, check out the one for Terminator 2, looks like it was drawn during a lunch break!
