The optimal survival strategy for Russian soldiers already deployed to Ukraine is to eliminate their own commanding officers, and go home.

The optimal survival strategy for Russian citizens being conscripted, is to eliminate any and all military or law enforcement that attempt to press them into service.

Ultimately, removing the source that keeps demanding that Russians go to Ukraine to get blown up by drones would cut down Russian casualties in a profound way.
