The optimal survival strategy for Russian soldiers already deployed to Ukraine is to eliminate their own commanding officers, and go home.
The optimal survival strategy for Russian citizens being conscripted, is to eliminate any and all military or law enforcement that attempt to press them into service.
Ultimately, removing the source that keeps demanding that Russians go to Ukraine to get blown up by drones would cut down Russian casualties in a profound way.
The good old Frag(mentation grenade in the officers building). Or so I have read.
True though, I mean what do they have to lose?
Besides maximizing their own chances of survival, a strong arguement could be made that it would be the most patriotic thing that they could do.
