I started on lemmy.world like quite a few others and since have migrated to lemm.ee, however I created a community on lemmy.world named asheronscall.

I can't see it from lemme.ee yet if I go back to lemmy.world it's still there and hanging out.

Any ideas?

Update: Utilizing the community search function on the browser properly was able to locate the community! Thanks everyone

It's probably because lemm.ee hasn't been synced with your community by anyone yet.

Get the full URL (https://lemmy.world/c/yourcommunity) and paste it into the community search bar in lemm.ee.

Give it a minute, reload the page, then search for the name of your community (without the https bit). It should then show up.

That did it, I had to get on my computer/browser to find the proper search as I was unable to locate it on my mobile app Connect for Lemmy

lemm.ee probably didn’t know about that community yet.

I just put the full URL in the search bar in lemm.ee (this is how you can make instances find a community on another instance) - it should show up now but anything from before today may or may not sync. And you’ll need to comment on a post in there so your lemmy.world self can then give your lemm.ee self mod privileges.
