Thanks for posting. Love these threads.
I'm using lemmy again because Kbin is down for me the last couple of days...
I completely agree with all these selections.
Does anyone know if and how you boost a post from lemmy, specifically the voyager app?
- Jello
Not me unfortunately
i would absolutely love evil danhausen and pco again in aew.
I would legit love it if Danhausen managed a stable with PCO, Abadon, and Luchasaurus.
MJF
Storm
Kingston
Christian
Julia
Swerve
Andrade
Danielson, Claudio, Briscoe, and Garcia
Nobody because this match should be Ricky and Bill vs a different tag team for the titles but Jericho can't let anything not be about him so we all have to suffer instead
Let's see how well that shows up
Bottom to top of the card:
- Stakrs, Bill, Hobbs, Takeshita win.
- Guevara eat shit for his team. It is my theory that the original plan was to have Kenny eat the pin anyway, possibly due to Jeircho being a bitch and costing them the match.
- Andrade, but frankly who gives a shit.
- We do see the finger, and the wedding ring is still on.
- This is some weird ass foreplay for both the characters and the people involved, and I'm not interested.
- Swerve
- A cinderblock will be involved for sure, it's sorta becoming Swerve's signature weapon.
- Switchbalde + brody + rush + lethal
- Garcia eats it, he is visibly upset about eating shit again. hints towards joining BCC.
- Christian
- Definitely at least 2 tables
- I'd assume the pre-show battle royale will be won by Nick Wayne, setting up a betrayal reminiscent of Cage's on JB.
- We might even see the return of Jungle Boy
- I am pretty sure this story is not about Cage and Copeland, but about Luchasaurus and Wayne
- Hart
- I wouldn't have the interference happen, if Hart can't convincingly beat Abadon who has literally never amounted to jack shit beyond the occasional spooky match she has no real path forwards. Wins and losses matter, etc.
- Moxley
- They do hug
- I could see cases for both Mox and Eddie to win, but BCC has been eating shit this last few weeks, Eddie beat both Claudio and Bryan, Yuta isn't winning the FTW championship in the pre-show, so Mox being the lone winner would be a way to at least protect the stable a bit, otherwise Eddie would have literally beat every one of them in ascending order of standing.
- It also makes sense to not immediately have Eddie win the triple crown he wants now that it's been established as his next goal. Run it back next year.
- But also, I hope I am wrong and Eddie has his perfect night in his hometown even if it makes for a less compelling story. It's real to him, and thus to me.
- Storm
- I'd say 2 shoes, one each. Riho is not above matching shenanigans.
- Riho is not winning for sure, this is either a setup for Sakazaki's return or Moné's debut in AEW.
- MJF
- Adam accompanies him.
- I already detailed this last point in a different post but the devil is unmasked tonight, and it's Kyle O'Reilly.
- Joe wins (due to Devil shenanigans; may or may not reveal the Devil to be Adam Cole during the PPV); OR MJF retains and the Devil is revealed to be Cole and it sets up a long feud
- Storm retains, Mercedes makes her presence known
- Moxley wins, because Kingston's character works better as the underdog little guy trying his best, Moxley does more NJPW dates
- Adam Copeland wins, somehow makes it a Brodie Lee reference
- Julia Hart retains, Abadon goes back into hiding until they need her again for a small run around Halloween 2024
- Jay White's team wins the 8-man, but the star of the match is Garcia
- Swerve wins, becomes super hot tweener
- Miro wins, awaiting the next "client" he'll have to fight
- Sting's team wins because it's a double feel-good being Sting's (probably) second-last match, and AEW's latest attempt at trying to make Guevara likeable (hey guys he just had a baby!)
Wildcard: Goldberg shows up at some point and FTR refuse to shake his hand backstage
Thanks for posting this Wizard.
- MJF - Devil is not unmasked, MJF ultimately loses to Swerve at Revolution.
- Storm - I'm praying Stat challenges at Revolution, win, Hayter returns and ultimately gets the title at All In. Main event at Wembley. Do it Tony you pussy.
- Kingston.
- Copeland - but Christian refuses to accept he's lost (yes, I think they are going to do a Trump parody)
- Hart
- King Switch etc
- Swerve
- Andrade, via some CJ fuckery
- Sting, etc, Callis Family walk out and abandon Absolute Bill.
For Zero Hour:
- Stat
- Hook
- Don't care, er, Wardlow maybe?
Shit I'd love for Hayter to return!
