A full housing plan by 2024, that will be debated until 2025, shovels will hit the ground in 2026 but be delayed by NIMBYism and muncpial governments until 2030, at which point the plan will be reassessed and the existing builds will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Fraser wasn't exactly handed the portfolio yesterday...I don't think it has anything to do with who's in the cabinet chair, it's pretty clear the federal Libs are merely slow-walking and stalling on the housing file until the next election.

How about pointing at the governments that actually have control over housing regulations, i.e the provincial governments, instead of waiting on the federal to do something while the provinces laugh their ass off?

I'm looking forward to action. AFAIU the (modest) affordability improvements are mostly due to rising interest rates.
