This sounds like what I have Home Assistant for.

Yeah, it's interesting but I can't see myself going to it after investing in HA. Maybe it can serve some purpose in cross-automation use cases that involve both systems.

I can't wait to check it out. Routines have been just on the edge of acceptability for me to bother futzing with.
