Iron farm? I still haven't been on the server, are there villagers close by? I could construct one.

I will do the classic left move, and create a split before even joining 
I have done some city beautification since it was requested in a google doc several days ago. Day pics. Night pic. Unfortunately, there was already some housing in the new development, so the street had to be smaller and the transition from the bridge is a bit weird. On the other side, there was a lot of space so I was able to fit a nice boulevard in. The old street is called "Street of Human Achievement," so I suppose I will continue to extend it and rename it "Boulevard of Human Achievement." There is enough space to extend it almost all the way to Blair Mountain Road, although Zezergag's house is currently in the way.
The boulevard can't reasonably be extended past that without demolishing a bunch of stuff, which I obviously won't do. If you think the road is ugly and want it gone, or want to collaborate, feel free to comment here.
I am creating an intersecting boulevard centered on the hammer and sickle statue.
Does anyone know where a blue nether forrest is? I need pearls for an e-chest
Just go to the end. In the nether portal, there's a tunnel near the crafting table, and it leads down into a path that goes to another nether portal that leads to a stronghold. We've already killed the dragon.
Alternatively, a chest in the resource center has a bunch of pearls.
Good news: there's a full stack of iron blocks in the Resource Refining Center. We have iron now.

OK so I started work on the Nether hub. It's in the roof and kind of like a subway platform. It should be finished on Saturday or Sunday.
Please post the nether X Z coordinates to any places you want connected to the system. I'll map out the route, dig it, put up signage, and eventually make a map picture subway map as well.
So I went around the Nether to see what tunnels people have already made. Some of it is unlabeled.

IStealXiBucks has lots of farms. The Western Ice Fields seems to have nothing of note, although the Nether Fortress also happens to be there. Someone's Base^1^ is supposedly near a mushroom island. Someone's Base^2^ is on a mountain. Gentle_packet is on break from the server til August according to some sign I saw and the base is a communal village about 700 blocks west from the city.

As you can see, everything is already roughly in straight lines, which simplifies things. I can just make two mainlines with a few spurs. I'll start with The End.
The end portal would be a good idea.
Last server I was on one guy made an iron farm and within a week or two we had more iron that we could use. Bases made of iron. It was kind of broken but also kind of awesome.
I wish we had more decorative iron blocks. It's a pretty limiting palette
At x: 141 z: 7, east of the main city and near the coast, I started a quarry named "Stalino 01". It leads to an iron rich cave system. I would add some screenshots, but Lemmy is not letting me upload images for some reason.
