My 27 yr old sibling is a hard core follower of Joe Rogan πŸ’©

What are some progressive channels/people/content that I could have my sibling start watching instead?

Preferably something that has a similar flavor - example: male host, muscular, easy to digest. I think that will make the transition easier.

My personal preferences are Seth Meyers and John Oliver, but Last Week Tonight (John Oliver) is even a heavy watch for me sometimes!

[No Andrew Hubbard. He’s another fake.]

Thank you!

Some More News on YouTube is really great. They also do a weekly ~hour long podcast called Even More News, but I think that's better as an extension of the core showdy.

There's also Internet Comment Etiquette with Erik on YouTube. It's shorter and seems at a glance to be more right wing, but he's being ironic. That might sway him more gently. Also shout-out for being the only YouTuber who does ad reads that I'll actually sit through. Sponsors, throw your money at him, he has my fucking eyeballs.

For something more dry but still short, Beau of the Fifth Column just doesn't miss.

What great recommendations!

Some More News is a bit long to start him off I think, but Internet Comment Etiquette has the perfect vulgarity and format. I think it will catch his attention and make him actually watch some.

Beau of the Fifth Column has an incredible beard and background. It really hits the right vibe too! Thank you!
