I read MLS are introducing new rules next season and I think these are some good changes worth implementing:

Off-field treatment rule • If a player is suspected of injury and remains on the ground for more than 15 seconds, the referee will stop play and call for medical staff. The player will be removed from the field and remain off for at least two minutes for evaluation and treatment.

Timed substitution rule •Substituted players must leave the field within 10 seconds. If a player doesn't leave within 10 seconds, the incoming player must wait 60 seconds before entering.

In-stadium VAR announcements •Referees will announce and explain VAR decisions.

I actually like the timed sub rule...some of these guys move too damn slow

100% agree. I know it's a time wasting tactic and you kinda expect your team to do it to wind down the clock, but it can be so infuriating when it's the other way around.

I'm all for having a set time and then it's all square across the park. That being said, the crack down on time wasting in the PL is as effective as a clown at a funeral. If you're going to crack down on timewasting during subs, do it across the park. Especially for some goalkicks...
