My plants are a little leggy still but the days are getting longer so they'll reveg soon. I still haven't planted my produce crops lmfao my wife is starting to complain about my priorities.

A lot of people go crazy with the science side of things... is it feasible to just grow and prune, au naturel, like this?

Yeah totally, dudes have been farming weed in the ground under the sun for literally thousands of years. I never had good luck with the lab coat, bottled fertilizer thing, my organic weed is way better than anything I've grown out of a bottle.

That's not just yard soil of course, it's heavily amended. But those amendments are very cost effective, and now I don't even pH my water. It's amazing. I never try to tell people how to live but if you're still planning your weed farm you might consider organic!

Probably just ammend it with compost and manure like I do my garden. Any pitfalls I should worry about?

If you already garden, it's pretty much the same as growing tomatoes.

I should be good then lol I put up just shy of 150lbs of tomatoes last year.

Holy cow lmfao yeah you'll be fine. I do my own compost and when they flower I top dress bone meal for phosphorus. They want lots of N in veg and lots of P in flower.

Oh, fantastic. That's easy enough. I can work with that info! Thanks a bunch.

All these people just want to max their crops, it'll be fine if you care for it like you do for any other plant.
