I'm enjoying my time on Lemmy so far, but to be honest, I don't want to see the stuff coming out of Lemmygrad. Is there any way to block out whole instances at the user level?

Like yeah we can block communities (subreddits)

we can do that already? Then it's missing in the app I'm using.

I'll check the official web frontend of my instance.

We got an app for this? ๐Ÿ˜‚ I thought it was work in progress since one page where I found one yesterday the links were broken. (Don't remember anymore what site though) Where can I find one? Going to have to look little bit later on my own.

I tried Lemmur and Jerboa for Android from https://f-droid.org Both seem to be beta-ish.

I also saw a post here for an iPhone App but can't remember the name.

EDIT: It's called Mlem

I'm using jerboa, if you go to the community page of the community you want to block, then click the 3 dot menu, you can block the community from there.

That works. thanks!

Sadly Mlem does not work with kbin but I need to still test it out with Lemmy instance.

Oh yeah it might not be an app feature yet. I had to do it via the web.

It's definitely possible in Jerboa
