Since Jan 11, 2022, I have worked on getting the Nexus 5 over on Mobian.

Here's a year of progress.

I will update my repo soon.

Yup!

Not working:

  • Audio (BT Only)
  • Camera
  • GPU Accel
  • SIM
  • Thermal Conditioning
  • X11 (Screen tears [fixed only on pmOS])

Partial:

  • GPU
  • Kernel (Sometimes opps/panics.)
  • Wi-Fi (2.4GHZ only)

Working:

  • CPU
  • Touch
  • BT
  • OTG

Not tested:

  • GPS
  • Waydroid
  • HDMi

I apologize for the late response, Jerboa doesn't notify me.

I will adress Audio/HDMI/GPS on flto's kernel.

Wonderful. Heh, my reply's MUCH late but.. How's Phosh running without GPU accel? I'm charging my hammerhead again to try Mobian instead, hope its easy :)

Phosh runs quite well (Considering this is an old phone.)

If you like, follow the build instructions and give it a try. You might like it 😉.
