Too bad you've never had a close bond with a cat. They're a lot more cuddly and affectionate than non-cat folk give them credit for. Not to say they wouldn't be dangerous, those claws and teeth are killing weapons. But they wouldn't intentionally kill their person.

Haha I lived with two cats before, one was a mean grouch who slashed at anyone when he felt like it, funnily enough I was the only one in the family who was able to pet him regularly.

I mostly just petted him rougher than most people so I guess he just liked that. The sister cat was the nicest cat ever, she would let you carry her stretch her out or toss her over your shoulder she never hurt anyone but she killed soo many birds.

the grouchy cat just couldn't ever figure out how to hunt, he would go to a tree with birds and then meow at them and the birds would fly away, then he would spend the next ten minutes going up the tree and getting stuck
