Note that regular hybrids change your MPG from ~25 to ~40 MPG. Over 2000 miles, that's a reduction of 80-gallons down to 50 gallons.

So turning 8 cars into 8 Hybrids has the same effect as 3x EVs.

So even ignoring the "plugin" part, just the pure Hybrid part (ex: Ford Maverick Hybrid Truck) shows obvious improvements to carbon emissions.
