Kit:

  • iPad Pro M1 (11in)
  • Ignited Emulator
  • Stadia Gamepad (with Bluetooth firmware)
  • Apple Pencil clone
  • EIZO FlexScan Display (Any external or airplay will work)

AFAIK Ignited doesn’t support multiplayer DS games as of yet. :(

I can see three possible improvements so I don’t know about “best experience possible” but it looks real nice indeed !

The three improvements are :

  • 12.9 inch iPad Pro
  • Sony DualSense (Edge)
  • Pencil 2

Your "improvements" are just more expensive hardware for no reason and nothing to add more features or functionality?

A bigger display is definitely a real improvement, and I can assure you the DualSense Edge is the most comfortable controller I have ever been lucky enough to hold. The additional buttons are also extremely useful for emulation, when you need a few emulator shortcuts on quick access.

I admit to not knowing how good that Apple Pencil clone is. I’ve never been able to try one that supported all the features of the original without issue, but maybe this one does.

I forgot to mention that the emulator works with AirPlay, so you could do the same thing with an Apple TV if you want that big screen.

You forgot about the Studio Display or 4:3 CRT depending on the user’s tastes.

At that point just go with a Pro Display XDR and now you’re rocking 🤘

( a display that is so expensive my bank account has never even held more than half of its price tag, and is honestly kinda outdated now 😆 )
