Alright refugees!

I reckon we need to have a threat to chat. About stuff. With reddit 'closing' for the next few days in some cases, and foreseeable in others, I felt like this thread was appropriate.

What are you all up to today? Anything interesting going on? I already know it's too hot.

Agree! I don't know how people do tea in this weather, and I love tea.

Just had a cuppa because it's what you do, but also I'm now full of hot sloshy regret. We can't win!

I'm in the US, pretty addicted to my cold plain black tea, make it myself, it goes EVERYWHERE with me!

You can make cold tea, like coldbrew coffee. just put the leaves in a container and soak overnight in the fridge. serve with ice, very refreshing. To make it easier you can put it in a cafetiere, and use the filter from that to pour it out. Also tea is still drunk plenty in countries with much higher average temperatures.
