Disclosure: I am not the creator of that imgur page, I am only helping to keep the truth alive as I was a teenager in California when all of that went down in China and I am just as disgusted as most people are.

The whole topic is fairly interesting. There were actually opposing sides within the Chinese government, one which almost caused it to give in to the student protests, which could've opened China up to be more democratic. Unfortunately the hardliners won and led down to the brutal crackdown.
