Yeah, I am on the fence with this. I am loath to double-dip too but, at this point, if a boutique Blu-ray releaser is scanning the negative and only releasing it in HD, can we assume that's the best possible picture?
I saw their previous releases, which were more interesting to me as a whole than this set, so I ended up picking it up with those since shipping is so costly.
