It really baffles me, I'll be honest. I think the argument that if the ref hadn't called it VAR might not have given it is pretty valid, but the fact is it was the right call.

The only thing I could think of (and I have a relative who is exactly like this), is he just likes to knock the younger generation down a peg every time they achieve something? But he's not like this with any other team, so what is his agenda?
