Neat ground cover. I’ll bet you get some moisture retention from it in addition to weed suppression. My compost pile stays moist when I cover it.
We've got soaker hose underneath!
We tried one year without the plastic and it was just too many weeds, as we started gardening over a previously untouched "field"... Seed bank for weeds was endless!
