Good day guys,

Not trying to break any rules so I will not give self promotion details. Serious question - We are developing a Fitness based VR game. A proper one with real goal setting mechanics, huge gamification, the whole 9 yards. I would like to know whether you prefer to buy a game outright or rather have a F2P with in-game purchase and/or monthly subscription.

Side note: I see most games in this genre go for about $25-$30, so we would be the same it we go that route, otherwise I was thinking F2P with a $10/month sub for additional content.

If I am breaking any rules here, I apologize, I am trying to stay within the rules by purely asking the question. For me to ensure I build something the community really wants, I need to first know what they want.

Thank you all in advance for any feedback.

Doepie308: That is a good point. And if you buy outright, are you ok with spending on DLCs of some kind or do you only purchase once?

leerzeichn93: If the DLCs are worth their money, I gladly buy them. But, well, that is a very subjective parameter.

Doepie308: We created an app which offers multigym access to a variety of gyms for one monthly fee which can be cancelled at any time. Its supported 24hrs a day. I want to build a VR experience with same intent. Bring something to live and continue to support it and allow it to grow and morph into... well, whatever it morphs into - lol.

I personally feel its what is needed. Staying fit, active and healthy is a continuous thing and so the VR experience/game/app should be as well

leerzeichn93: Definitely makes sense for the fitness sector. I wish you luck and maybe you can keep us updated. Send me the app name per DM if you want to. I love to do sports with VR, even though I dont have a lot of experience with fitness apps, only exhausting games like underdogs and Pistol Whip.

Doepie308: No worries. I will send you some artwork once its ready to be distributed and get your feedback on it. Meantime, thank you for contributing, I really appreciate it
