I play with a friend that none of us can hear in VR unless we cup our hands over our ears (they've even upgraded to a Q3 in hopes that would help—but it did not). Any suggestions for earphones that are compatible with the BoboVR S3 Pro headstrap for Q3 (it's on pre-order).

BoboVR has earphones but it looks like it may only compatible with the PSVR boboVR headstrap.

Our friends that have headphones connected through their PC can hear him... but most of the group only plays via standalone.

Wylaf_Beulbe: I recommend cupped wired 3.5mm headphones with adjustable headband.

No batteries or connection issues.

An analog solution to a digital problem.

juggling-geese: I looked for cupped headphones but could not find any that were compatible with anything other than the original Quest strap. I'm searching now, but I'm curious how comfortable it is to wear the the common (larger) setup with the BoboVR headstrap.

Wylaf_Beulbe: I have these: Turtle Beach Recon 200 Gen 2 Powered Gaming Headset for Xbox https://a.co/d/9UZa84v

It's a decently priced headset that I use to pay my xbox and my quest with bobovr headstrap.

No issues, fits well and blocks most of outside noice.

Note that the mic from the headset doesn't work on the quest.
