Axon14: So one thing I've noticed is that I don't love to play, say, Diablo IV. I love to prepare to play diablo IV. I deeply research the most minuscule issue, agonize over a single point, find the optimal location for drops, etc.
Actually executing these plans is far less interesting to me than making said plans.
I don't know about being a beta tester, and I typically stick with one game for a while, usually until completion. I do know a lot of players who spend one day with a game and that's it, however. I'm not sure gameplay on the deck changes that at all.
