This game was so much fun in highschool. I never purchased the Lost Age way back then, but I saved my password for decades with the intent to pick it up eventually. I was pretty ecstatic about the games being released on Switch Virtual Console, but playing The Lost Age on the Switch... It just isn't the same.

So I just started playing it on a modded 2DS. I have decided this is the console I'm going to finish the series with. Definitely better dpad (and joystick), comfortable to hold, and maybe the smaller screen helps it appear more like the original games.

I remember playing Golden Sun as a kid, but never got really far. I was always stuck soon after it became open world (meaning you could access the map and travel wherever you wanted), because I couldn't figure out how to proceed. Wonder if it's worth picking it up again now as an adult?
