Is this the update that forces the 12 users to buy new ones? I can’t wait, lol.

I’ll still update even though I know I’ll start getting the jittery scrolling and new, awful battery life. 😭

XS user here. Just waiting for my time to come

👋 same, still haven’t found a good reason to upgrade. Phone updates have been mid for the past 3-4 years.

Why would the 12s have issues already? They are not that old? Or am I overlooking something?

@Onse @Gingerlegs I got my 12 three-ish years ago and I’m having a lot of stuttering issues now. Sometimes I don’t get notifications either.

Had the same problem with my phone before that. Had it for three years and then started having issues.

Notifications issues have existed for a long time in the iOS ecosystem. I have found that doing a full reset of the phone will resolve the issue.

(yes, I have reported the issue to Apple via Feedback but they just don’t care. Quality control has take a backseat)

Get the battery replaced, because you probably need one, and do a Backup and Restore. Should fix all the issues. I had the X for 5 years and it works perfectly fine. I just upgraded because I wanted a new phone. If you don’t reinstall all the apps from backup it’s even better as you end up installing so many apps and barely use them.

Doubt it

iOS 16 supports X and up.

I’m still on the XS generation of iPhone. Still haven’t seen a good reason to upgrade yet.

Personally, would like to see Touch ID under the screen.

Also an XS user, will probably upgrade when USB-C appears finally. And Touch ID would be nice indeed, mobile payments with Face ID are annoying.

Are you serious…?
