Isn't cat 6e a gimmick? To the best of my knowledge 6a is a standard because of shielding. This person's best bet is running a cat 6 cable. Find a way.
I think OP is referring to the WiFi 6E standard, not the Ethernet categories.
Oh, thanks for clarification. I remember either tomahawk or general cabling selling cat 6e a couple years back.
Tangentally, the only long distance cat 6 that's marketed for higher speeds is Paige gamechanger cable.
You're correct, though - there is no Cat 6e standard. It's just a marketing gimmick called "Cat 6 enhanced." You may or may not see better performance from it. This is a nice short summary.
