Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered

It used to be a good thing, all the way up until like 2015.
Back then, hotels were kinda of shit. And the person running your Airbnb was some retirees who had an extra room. So getting a comfy bed for like 1/2 price as a hotel, along with some other perks like money back in the community, or a nice home cook feel, was nice.
Now, airbnbs are run by real estate companies. And many even have bs like "vacuum the house and put the dirty bedding in the wash". And hotels have gotten significantly better. Many hotels are adding mini kitchens. Others cleaned up.
