Is it worth it to restore an OEM GBA shell? (self.retrogaming)

I have on my desk 2 OEM GBAs full stock, one was originally mine and in great condition, the other was off of ebay and is covered in micro scratches etc, is it worth restoring this shell at all or just replace it with an aftermarket one, theyre not exactly expensive

im practicing my first mod on this one, trimming and everything

I've done the trimming in the past, but my preference now is to keep the original shells original (and store in my parts storage for repairs or later sale) and use or trim aftermarket ones for mods.
