I never played Redout 2 but I played 1 and loved it, until I got to frustrated because I suck, lol. If you like Wipeout, especially the classic games you should definitely try BallisticNG it has a strong Wipeout 3 vibe but it is also really fast in becoming frustratingly hard. And BallisticNG has a native Linux port.
